How it Started
I first discovered Pilates 15 years ago and have spent the last decade and a half deepening my understanding of how movement supports both physical health and mental well-being.
My commitment to the practice became personal when I was recovering from a herniated disc and severe sciatic pain. Pilates was the only movement practice that helped me manage pain, restore spinal mobility, and rebuild trust in what my body could do. That experience shapes how I teach every day. I want to help clients move fearlessly and feel confident in their own strength.
Professional Qualifications & Education
Bringing together my background in human development and my love for physical movement, I began my formal instructor training by completing a classical Foundations course under master teacher Amy Kellow. I went on to complete a 600-hour Comprehensive Classical & Evidence-Based Teacher Training Diploma under Clare Axon-Saunders at The Pilates Barns.
Before transitioning into full-time Pilates instruction, I spent years working in family support and education, holding specialised credentials in Parenting Coaching, Baby Massage instruction, and Protective Behaviours training. This background gives me a thoughtful, supportive approach when guiding clients through technical apparatus work.
To ground my practical apparatus skills in modern movement science and specialised populations, I completed further education in anatomy, biomechanics, and perinatal fitness.

Beyond the Studio
Outside the studio, my main passion is spending time with my two dogs, Ronnie and Marley, and we can usually be found out on long daily walks across the local countryside.
