How it Started
After sustaining an injury in 2021 that prevented me from continuing high-impact gym workouts, I realised it was time to change my approach to movement. That is when I discovered Pilates and I quickly experienced the huge benifits targeted apparatus work could be for both physical recovery and mental wellbeing.
Having spent 10 years as a stay-at-home mum to my two daughters, this turning point inspired me to step into a new career path and pursue full comprehensive teacher training.
Professional Training & Qualifications
I studied with renowned educator Joanne Cobbe at JPilates Training and Education, earning my fully comprehensive classical teacher qualification across the complete suite of studio apparatus. Driven to keep learning, I have since completed specialised Jumpboard apparatus training through the London Pilates Academy.
Key Credentials & Specialisms
Fully Comprehensive Classical Instructor: Qualified across all classical apparatus via JPilates Training & Education (Joanne Cobbe).
12-Month Classical Apprenticeship: Rigorous foundational training covering beginner through intermediate apparatus protocols.
Specialised Jumpboard Certification: Advanced Reformer jumpboard mechanics via London Pilates Academy.
Post-Rehabilitation Focus: Personal experience using Pilates to rebuild strength and mobility after injury.
My Teaching Approach
I am passionate about helping clients of all ages understand their unique body and build the confidence to move efficiently without pain. My favourite part of teaching is watching clients walk out of the studio smiling, standing taller, and feeling empowered to take on whatever the day brings.
