How it Started
I was introduced to Pilates at my local gym almost 20 years ago out of sheer curiosity. Guided by a wonderful teacher, I fell in love with traditional Matwork—the true foundation of Joseph Pilates’ Method.
Having lived with Scoliosis since childhood, I grew up doing ballet and competitive athletics. However, it wasn’t until I discovered the intentional, precise nature of Pilates that I developed a deep biomechanical understanding of my own body. Over time, the practice completely transformed my strength, posture, and pain management.
The Classical Pilates Approach
Driven to understand the Method at the highest level, I transitioned from a career in education to complete a rigorous 13-month classical comprehensive apprenticeship, qualifying as an apparatus instructor in 2021.
My background in education shapes my teaching style: I focus on clear, detailed instruction so you feel safe, supported, and confident on every piece of equipment. I take the time to get to know your personal goals, whether that is building core stability, managing joint issues, or restoring functional movement for everyday life.
Specialised Experience
Scoliosis & Spinal Alignment: Personal, long-term experience managing structural spinal asymmetry through targeted apparatus work.
Neurological Condition Support: Specialised experience adapting Pilates for clients navigating neurological conditions, including dementia; an area of instruction I am deeply passionate about.
Classical Comprehensive Instructor: Qualified across the full suite of studio apparatus following a 600+ hour classical apprenticeship.
What to Expect in My Classes
Clients often tell me they love the technical precision and individual attention in my sessions. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing clients leave the studio with a smile, a sense of achievement, and the real-world feedback that Pilates is helping them live a better quality of life.

Beyond the Studio
When I’m not teaching in the studio, I am an amateur cellist and love playing chamber and orchestral music.
